CITY OF AMARILLO SAFE ROOM UPDATE

The City of Amarillo conducted the Safe Room Rebate lottery drawing at the Civic Center on Monday, Oct 16th. All of those applications that were submitted were drawn in order to establish out of the over two hundred applicants, who would receive one of the one hundred fifty safe room rebates, and who would be placed on a stand-by list. This public lottery drawing was conducted in order to ensure that this program is, and remains, as fair and as transparent as possible. At the end of this document, you will find a listing of those drawn and their standing in the lottery.

REGIONAL SAFE ROOM REBATE PROGRAM UPDATE

The PRPC has begun to move forward with the Regional Safe Room Rebate Program. One such step is to recruit more local contractors into the National Storm Shelter Association (NSSA) program.
